Just a few days ago we decided to start trying some solid foods with Lexi! So I cooked and pureed up some carrots the other day and gave it a shot..she loved them! She kept trying to grab the spoon and feed herself! :) So independent. She also has been really into biting/sucking on her bottom lip lately! She does it alll the time and likes to make smacking noises as well. She always keeps us laughing! She is also sitting up on her own now and has discovered that when you bang toys together..they make noise! haha It is so rewarding to be a mom! I love every minute of it. It is so fun to watch them grow and to join them in their excitement of learning, discovering and trying new things!

We got to celebrate Ryan’s 30th Birthday while everyone was here!! :)

These are the massive rib eye and new york steaks that Ryan requested for his birthday dinner! I seriously think they were close to the size of my head! haha Seemed like it anyway!

Cooper must have inspired Lexi while he was here because, like Cooper, Lexi started putting her toes in her mouth while everyone was here!

Lexi listening to papa’s headphones! She looves music! I don’t have a picture of it, but almost every night her and papa have “dance” time and he holds her facing out and plays music and she kicks her legs and moves her hands and just loves it! And I know papa loves it as much as Lexi :)

It was so great seeing everyone this past week! Whether it was on webcam or in person :) We had such a good time and are already looking forward to the next time we get to be together! Lexi especially enjoyed meeting all of her Aunts, Uncles, and cousins...we have SO many pictures from when everyone is here that I think it will take me the next month to post them all.
